Hi everyone! It's me again! I'm back with my second post!
As some of you might know, music is my life. I can never go on living without a song continuously repeating in my head. Even though music is such a big part of my life, I am impaired at producing it. Enjoying music poses no problem, however, when I'm expressing my creativity musically, I feel crippled. I can't communicate with the instrument that I use efficiently and thoroughly.
Currently, I am into learning the piano. When I was a child, I didn't see the importance and usefulness of having such a skill embedded into me. I thought it was just a silly skill that parents try to put into their child so as to stand out among the other parents. Not saying that being proud of one's child is bad, it's just that it can be too stressing for the kid. There could be other skills that parents make their child learn for that sole purpose- to brag, but I now realised, learning the piano is something never to be given up or chucked aside. The magic of making a song just by a few simple chords on the 88 keys of an acoustic is something to be marveled, awed and at the same time thought-provoking.
You might wonder why I'm suddenly so hot for piano. "Maybe he is influenced by something? Perhaps a media of some sort...A friend? Magazine, or could it be....." (keep going...) " Aahh! yes! by the movie Music & Lyrics!"
Haha! you got part of it right. I am trying to learn how to play the song that Alex Fletcher( Hugh Grant) and Sophie Fisher( Drew Barrymore) have been working on days and nights on end for Cora (Haley Bennett). I actually started learning a few other piano pieces before I watched the movie on DVD. For example, the first song that I seriously learned and is able to play with a sing-a-long is " Superman" by Five for Fighting. The second main piece that I learned is Sadness and Sorrow ( Aito hi) by Toushiro Masuda from the famous anime- Naruto. In between I attempted many other different selection of latest popular songs, like It Ends Tonight by The All American Rejects, This Love by Maroon Five, Complicated by Avril Lavigne and Clocks by Coldplay. The song that was composed in the movie " Music and Lyrics" is entitled "Way back into love". It's supposedly made for Cora, an ultra-uber-superduper Superstar, that is planning on using the song for her own album and a live performance in Madison Square Garden- New York. The Song is fairly easy, compared to This Love by Maroon Five. The left hand chords are rather simple as a few chords are repeated many times in the whole song. The right hand just plays the melody that is already stuck into the heads of anyone that watched the movie.
In the process of learning this piece, as I have mentioned before, I am unable to read the notes. I require help from someone who is familiar with transferring what is on paper down on the piano. I have no problems recognising the keys, like A B C D E F G on the piano, so I need some deciphering to be done. Lo and Behold! It's already the start of January, my sole music teacher, Trudy has already started school in Tampines Junior College. Now I'm in a tight spot. I tried learning how to read the notes, but then I realised, it's not going to work. There are 5 pages for the whole song, I am never going to be able to fully translate those little (as they refer to it) Beansprouts into letters on the piano. So now my only hope to deliver me from this time of tribulation is Chermaine! I hope she's free to teach me the piece. When I was still in school, I noticed she and Trudy both took piano exams from the same place with Daniel? Anyway, with her musical expertise, I'm sure she would be a massive help to me.
So far I have only ranted about my problems, but that's with reasons of course!
My day has been pretty boring. I woke up at around 12( Classic timing to get up from bed) and from then on tried to search youtube for videos teaching different songs on the piano. Then I went ahead to finish watching Shrek 3, which is a hell of a hilarious animation. That movie cracked me up like I was high on weed. Then I watched the chick movie " Music & lyrics" which was supposed to be watched in the cinema with some chick that I wanted to hook up. Sadly that didn't happen, same for Enchanted( man! I'm such a faliure!). But oh wells! Learning to play the song to get girls swarming over me might well be the remedy to my all so love-starved heart, and to maybe feed my hormones.
No one's on Crysis servers and the only one that is populated with a decent ping is from Japan that gives me the faggiest lag ever. Even though the ping is ok, the lag ingame even cause the whole game to hang. Therefore I have come to blog.
How I wish school essays could be so open, then I think everyone would do well for their English. =)
My O levels better be good or I'm going to well... I can't do anything. 2 more weeks and we'll see how everything goes.
An update from yesterday's post, my A-hole riddled with pain this afternoon when I released the sambal that have already charred my innards.
Random statement : My nails are long.

Hi everyone, it's been a long time since I came back onto this little place where I pour out my thoughts and feelings to people I don't even know. Well , a year has gone by without even making a single post. What made me return to this sanctuary to blog you might ask?
After many weeks of reading blogs of people from all walks of life, I began to notice the many different styles of writing among their posts. Some were plain Faggy, with sentences ending with a "loh", "le", "liao". These things shouldn't even appear in writing for Heaven's sake. So I am here to give an example to everyone out there on how, as bloggers, should post on our blogs!
Firstly, using Singlish might be okay when speaking to another Singaporean, to achieve a level of informality to ensure that the conversation do not become too awkward. However, once it appears on writing, it condescends the author and we should really be careful not to get to that stage. Even if an extra effort is required to achieve the desired lingual status, like reading more books, it is definitely worth it.
Secondly, Vocabulary. I noticed in my previous posts, I tried to post like how I would actually write when attempting an essay and sad to say, I had only just met the requirements that I set for myself when blogging. After reading a few good blogs, all I have to say about my posts were that they were mediocre and under-performed. I am sure that in order for me to fulfill my dream and make it into Mass Communications, I'll have to work harder. Back to topic, I have seen the many different words people use just to convey a message that could have easily been said by a mere five-year-old kid. By adding a few additional adjectives (ones people get to see only so often), and substituting other basic words with higher order words, they make the passage more intriguing and interesting. The few words that I have learned today are "Condescend" and "Avant-Garde". Both higher order words that you don't get to see everyday, especially if you live in Singapore. Maybe from time to time, we ( or rather me) should pick up the dictionary to read up on some new vocabulary to help improve our ever declining standard of English.
Now I am safe to say that I have un-officially became a spokesperson for the "Speak Good English Campaign" a campaign that the government started in order to rid us of our home-brewed language that gave us our identity- Singlish.
The Third and final point of my list of writing a good blog post is the style of writing. Everyone has a different way of writing. Be it "Roald Dahl", "Charles Dickson", "Dan Brown" or "J.K Rowling", they share a similar trait- they each have their own style when writing novels and story books. As bloggers, we should strive to find our own style and kindle it, like a flame. When it's small and blurry, spend more time and effort on it. Soon it will get bigger and after that, we don't even have to think about it as it becomes second-nature. If one has a passion for writing or for blogging for that matter, style comes easily. Authors write what they feel, what they think. Everything comes from the inside. It is where ones true identity resides upon. Style comes along with that, it metaphorically represents our nature in words.
I believe after writing three main points in my ever-so-long-awaited post, I still haven't met the required length of a suitable essay. However, I felt that I have already said what I wanted to say and presented my feelings to everyone out there. Hopefully this is just the beginning of the many posts yet to come. Blogging about my day helps me to improve my English. Those of you in my MSN contacts, please remind me to blog if I haven't. I will be eternally grateful to you if you do.
To end off my first post in Year 2008, I wish Ying Hao a happy birthday and may all of us support the Production of Belacan and Sambal.
P.S I said that because I ate 3 dishes worth of food together with double sambal on it. Ok, I admit, it was a little random.

Today is a day with mixed feelings. I had tuition early in the morning at 9:45. Thank goodness I woke up like one hour later, so I am not tired. Staying up last night to watch Bad Boys to was a reall tough challenge. I watched until 12:05 am and I couldn't stand it. My eyelids were sealing!Gathering up the last of the available energy in my "frail" body, I picked myself up, off the Television, fan and the light within 5 seconds. I ran up the stairs and literally FLEW onto my bed. I was declared asleep 3 seconds after landing. During the tuition, I just had to go somewhere. I discussed on MSN with Trudy and Agus and Alvin where to go after calling Wan Ting because I was bored, not them =). Eventually, Agus came out with a great idea to play pool at Safra. The tables are situated infront of the bowling alleys. I changed my money to coins and shared the price with Agus. It costs us 2 dollars per game..="( My money after 3 matches!!! First roudn was a piece of cake even though, frankly speaking, it was my second time playing pool =P. At the last part, I had won Agus because I cleared all the Solids and got the last black ball in. Yay! I won! The second round was crap. After the second or third ball I hit in, I hit the black ball in! NOooooOOo, I had more balls in than Agus!. Oh well, I admitted to defeat and we continued. Well, I don't wanna waste money to restart the round, thus we continued. Obviously, I cleared ALL solids before Agus again =). At the third match, Agus and I both had to hit the Black ball 8 in. Through luck, I made my record, 2 wins! Then Timothy and Fatty Aug came. Fatty Aug played pretty well in his games even though it was his first =/. Oh well. Timothy Chia was a total disaster in Pool. Fortunately he was still learning and his mistakes are acceptable. In the first few hits for Timothy, chipping the ball was his forte. All of us laughed, it can't be controlled! Later on, we reached the park and played with some kids from the streets. They were mere primary school students and we trashed them flat! Hah! I was a hat-trick hero with 3 goals in my record! At around 6:15 I proceeded here. Then I started to blog so here is my blog.

To start off this post... I hate Common Test. It is so hypocritical. They give us two tests per day and allow lessons to continue function after our tests. It was a really tough week for me. This is like asking a marathon runner to run back to their country after the race.-.- I am pretty sure that my physics has went down the drain. The values I got were out of this world. Oringinally, the volume of the bubble was supposed to be 25mm^3. However, the answer I got was 2x10^13. Really astronomical huh? I had already lost 9 marks in my E maths test. That Ong Lu Lu made us do a transformation question, A quadratic graph and oter questions within an hour! How is that even possible!?!? All I had left for Transfomation was Enlargement. I turned my head towards the clock and realised I had 10 minutes left for me Quadratic Graph which holds 13 marks. I was so shocked, I took out another piece of graph paper in a blink of an eye and quickly copy the Table of values at the back of the graph paper within 3 seconds. Finding "p", the unknown value, and plotting the points happened almost simultaneously. Unfortunately, as I was about to answer the Tangent question, the time was up. I was furious. The event that cheered me up was the chemistry test. FOR THE FIRST TIME, I MANAGED TO ANSWER ALL CHEMISTRY QUESTIONS!!! YiPEEEEE!!! hah. Currently, I am watching 3 animes. One is called .hack//sign, Japan's Number one's Anime for a period of time - Fate Stay-night ( This anime totally rocks, it truly lives up to its name .) and Bleach. I guess EVERYONE must know bleach..Kurosaki ichigo?Kuchiki Rukia?Abarai Renji? Oh nevermind -.-. Well, I have a Literature test on Monday and before I foget,

Yo people! I am back! This week is completely and utterly packed! I had to stay back for 3 days in a row, which isn't a really interesting matter I might add. Finally I had time to use the computer and blog. Previously, even though I came back late from school, I had tons of homework to do. Most of which comes from Mrs Pang, the work provider. Ha ha, I just thought of this name because it suits her=). For Mrs Pang, she said, " You have to do a vocabulary list for every new passage given to you." . When she said that, I was really puzzled! I have to do a vocabulary list for every new passage? The next thing that came to my mind was, " Fine, I'll do it..." heh, I was reluctant, because I already had so much work to do! On Tuesday, I had my oral examination. I was happy that after the examination was over, Mr Calai said that I did very well =). I spoke like a caucasian. Least after the examination, I knew that I had hope working in a radio station, my all life's dream. On wednesday, I had Project Work presentation. There fore, I had to stay back. My group was sorta like the sixth group. My group comprises of me and Samuel. Most of the work was done by me. I helped Samuel with the written report. I wasn't meant to write such long reports, I wouldn't know of what to write because the project came right out of my head. I did the powerpoint presentation and the drafts within a few hours. I didn't meet up with anyone or done any thing which requires learning processes. Expecting me to write a written report of 1ooo words would be asking Ying Hao to be overweight. How am I able to write a full report and not an essay when the whole process of brainstorming and finalising my ideas, drawing the diagrams and making sure that everything is able to work is done in merely a few hours? Hah, so I had to employ Samuel Lee. He was the best rubbish writer in Singapore! With that I mean that he knows how to fill in little words to add to the 1k count. Eventually, what I handed up to Mrs Oh in the project work file was as essay and not a written report, but who cares!? LOL! Today, I had to stay back yet again for New South Wales Mathematics paper. One of which I was not able to complete by actually attempting the questions. Instead, I made patterns on the OTAH paper. I shaded the answers in forms of patterns. By doing just that, I finished me test in less than 10 minutes. The last few questions are open ended questions that require us to fill in individual numbers. For a question concerning angles. I roughly remembered them asking me for one of the angles of a polygon. Being bored, I wanted to work my head a little, I wanted to give a intelligent answer which was obviously wrong. After a little thought of what answer to give, I wrote down "361" degrees. Haha! The biggest angle which is a circle is only 360 degrees. Having 361 degrees for an angle is impossible. After giving the answer, I marvelled at my creativity. The next question was an IQ question. I wrote down 999 as the answer, because it cannot go over that number. Next thing I did was to put my head down and go to sleep. The wait to 4:08pm was a long one. Timothy and Kuek were walking around 1B and 1C, the examination destination for 3E and 3F. They took their test previously during school curriculum, because they had oral after school. They were the first few and came down from their classes pretty early. I reached home at around 5 +. I turned on my computer and started posting in forums. From these forums, I learned that there are people who have nothing better to do than to flame people, spam and corrupt message boards. They should be condemn and cease to stop bothering us. Oh well , this is my day, thanks for reading!

Oh my goodness! On Sunday night,I turned on the air-conditioner and I felt that I had light sore throat.I sat down on my chair and blasted the radio. Then,I started to do my tuition homework. As the time passed,I felt the throat getting dryer and dryer."Am I drinking too little water?",I thought to myself, but I couldn't bother.Instead,I carried on doing my work.At around twelve,I could not stand the thirst anymore.I came down the stairs to drink some water.Alas! My throat was hurting!
On monday,I had the sniffles.Although it wasn't bad,it prevented me from concentrating on playing my Animal Crossing: Wild World. Then during the night, I started to cough... it was horrible!Fortunately, the coughing stopped when I was asleep.Tuesday was the worst day of the week,or at least for half a week. The beginning of the day was still okay.I had the sore throat, but I carried on with the daily work. After recess,my nose began to leak.Plenty of tissue papers were needed to stop the leakage.I couldn't stand it.Having a runny nose is very annoying and irritating.
Battling the illness,I pulled through the whole curriculum. Then, I remembered!I had physics remedial!Oh man!How am I going to keep my illness under control as I do my practical?Corperating my skills and brains,I decided to work together with Nicholas Lee even though the practical was supposed to be individual work( Don't tell Mrs Chan!).It was decided unanimously that I was to do the experiment involving oil and Nicholas was to do the experiment involving a string and a stone. We did our experiment simultaneously. Both of us did the table of results and then copied each other. However,I have not completed the questions on the practical worksheet.I had to take Kai Xuan's pen and quickly answer the questions.Be it slipshot work or not,I finished it FIRST.I rushed up to Mrs Chan and handed in my work.Looking at the clock,I was late for tuition.I wonder why the Physics Remedial had to clash with my A and E maths tuition, now I have to rush home.
2 hours of pure torture.I had flu and tuition.Which is worse? The combination of both!During the whole session,I always reached out to the roll of toilet paper and get some paper to dry my nose. After it was over,I heaved a HUGE sigh of relieve and immediately proceeded to on the water heater, then I took of my clothes and rushed into the toilet and bathed.I showered as fast as I could then dry my hair in a split second.I got changed then I laid on the bed close my eyes and sleep!
4 hours later I woke up for dinner.I had my dinner for 1/2 and hour then I went to pack my things for the next day and then went back up stairs and procceeded to hibernate.I woke up at 6:30 the next morning all refreshed!Hey!My sniffles was gone!My throat wasn't sore anymore!
Only my nose was left semi-blocked.At least it was better than having a runny nose.
The next day, which is today,I got better.I was able to communicate properly and look at people when I am talking. If I was still sick,I would be tearing.
When I was showering,I thought about my English language.I decided I have to improve inorder to be qualified for my future job, which is being a DJ!I consulted Joshua Loi and he gave me quite a few important pointers. That really helped.
From now on,I have resolved to speak standard English and write standard English.
I hope you guys will support me in this.Thanks.

There isn't much events to talk about today because everything was pretty normal.I didn't do much, didn't see much.
Actually,I was supposed to me Repth,my beatboxing mentor today.Unfortunately, his schedule was tight bcause he had to visit his primary school and after that,he had to rush to around novena to coach another guy.I could only meet him at white sands. However,I became lazy and didn't feel like travelling such a "long" distance over to white sands.I told him I couldn't make it to give him some free space(because he had exams coming up).We decided that we would meet up some other time!
After that,I changed and went downstairs for my soccer match. The starting line up was
First team:
Alvin kuek
Selwyn Sim
Loh Ying Hao
Tan Zhi Kai
Alson Yap
Second team:
Agus Tan
Timothy Chia
Augustus Goh
Eric Chia
Ang Zheng Da
The match was pretty dramatic because Ying hao did his usual fustrations on the pitch. Before the match, he was already pissed of with Agustus for the countless amount of times he made Ying Hao bleed.During the match,Ying hao could'nt get into the game because the ball rarely got to him. When he got the ball, Augustus tackled it from him and he started laughing. That made Ying Hao feel even more bitter. At one time,Ying hao got the ball and dribbled all the way infront of Eric which was the current keeper, but he failed to score. Consequetively,he yelled out the word,"FUCK!". The other team started laughing at him due to his impulsive behaviour, but this was not a joke for Ying hao.The laughter made him feel worse. After a few more tackles from Augustus,Ying Hao got fed up.When Augustus got the ball,he immediately tried to get the ball from him.Just as Augustus passed the ball,he deliberately banged into Augustus, but Augustus felt nothing! They started quarelling ALMOST resulting into a fight.Thank goodness they did not.The ball was passed on to Zheng Da and he passed it over to Timothy.Timothy stright away gave Agus a through ball.Ying Hao was heading for Agus at high speed simultaneously. As Ying Hao was about to tackle Agus, he slipped and went into a sliding tackle-like position. That tripped agus and he fell onto his back.Agus immediately got up and shouted vulgarities at Ying Hao and then procceeded to kick his hips.
The match then ended and Ying Hao was sprawled on the floor, trying to recover from the injury. The rest of us were drinking to quench our thirst, some of us were playing with the loose ball.
As Ying Hao got up,he apologised to Agus and Agus magnanimously accepted Ying Hao's sincere apologies. They made up and were friends again.=)
Sorta have a happy ending for it,didn't it?
Later in the evening,Timothy came to my house and we played Pro Evolution Soccer 5 on my computer. In the first match,I was Germany and Timothy was England. He beat me by 4:3.I was not sad because a goal was a mistake caused by my playfulness. Then I was Italy and he was England which I beat him 2:1 then I was Brazil and he was Italy and again, I beat him 2:1. Next, I was Ajax and he was Italy, as you know,I beat him 2:1 again. The last match that Timothy played in my house was between Italy and Liverpool.Timothy played Italy. As for me,I played the first 10 minutes of the match for Liverpool,by brother then came over and took over from me.As you expected,my brother trashed Timothy at 2:5.
Thats about my day.Peace and chill Y'all!
